Courage In Faith
On the eve of judgement day,
it is the uncertainty of the night that is so precious and so dear; whatever the verdict, the fear of the lesser of the outcomes ignites a fire in the core that fuels inspiration of what might be if favor shone on the unfortunate self, and all the things that can be done up until the last minute before standing with the judge and the jury, the love of freedom in that moment outweighs any bad judgement, outweighs any outcome good or bad, because it is the purest feeling I have ever known, and I am grateful to the judge, to the jury, and to God for the bliss of anticipation, and for losing all control; for faith is knowing that I'll be okay either way, because the power has always resided in me. © 2014 Nicholas Emeigh |
